التكوين

في جُمَل الشرط في الحالة الثالثة، يُمْكِن استخدام الصيغة التامة للمضارع الشرطي في جُمَل جواب الشرط.

جملة فِعْل الشرط (الشرط)	جملة جواب الشرط (النتيجة)
If + ماضي تام	تام شرطي مستمر
لو كان هذا الشيء قد حَدَث	لكان هذا الشيء يحدُث الآن

الاستخدام

يُسْتَخْدَم الزمن التام الشرطي المستمر في جُمَل الشرط في الحالة الثالثة، وهو يشير إلى نتيجة لم تتحقق للفِعْل المُشار إليه في جملة فِعْل الشرط، ويَصِف النتيجة على أنها حَدَث مستمر غير منته.

أمثلة

If the weather had been better (لكنه لم يُكُن كذلك), I'd have been sitting in the garden when he arrived (لكنني لم أفعل ذلك).
If she hadn't got a job in London (لكنها حصلت على وظيفة في لندن), she would have been working in Paris (لكنها لا تعمل في باريس).
If I had had a ball I would have been playing football.
If I had known it was dangerous I wouldn't have been climbing that cliff.

الزمن التام الشرطي المستمر

يتكون الفعل في الزمن التام الشرطي المستمر من أربعة أجزاء:
been + have + would + اسم الفاعل
يتم تكوين اسم الفاعل عن طريق إضافة -ing إلى مَصْدَر الفعل.

الفاعل	+ would	+ have	+ been	+ اسم الفاعل
He	would	have	been	staying
They	would	have	been	going
